Darwin Mate!!!

Broome was a laugh. The city is pretty small and the beach was a bus ride away. No problem getting there, Cable beach is one of the biggest beaches that I have been on so far, great sunset. Did the camping thing then headed to the Kimberly Klub (backpacker place, bloody nice) for one night as we were off on a tour through the Kimberly the following morning. For some reason we keep managing to be put in the room with the fella that snores. Now I'm not talking about a little mummer in the night I can handle that this was full on sleep apnea, I think this bloke may have actually suffered from Obstructive Sleep Apnea Syndrome, I was hoping that when he did stop breathing in the night that he may die...

...unfortunately not!

Then I was wedged into the back off a 4wd thingy and ragged around the Kimberly for 5 days. Five fantastic days I might add. Probably the best thing that I have done in Oz so far (I'm sure I have said that before). It was right up my street, sleeping in the middle of the outback in a swag under the stars. Got back to traditional Man things like washing only when we came across a pool of water, collecting firewood, switching on the ipod through the car stereo whilst drinking a cold beer from the bottle shop that we stopped of at 2 hours previously (you need some modern day things). It was like a mad road trip. We went to some pretty spectacular landscapes, hot springs, bat caves and croc infested creeks check out the pics.

Those stone range things are known as the Bungle Bungles, we visited loads of massive gorges in the bungle. One of the Indian Jones films was filmed through Echidna Chasm, we also went to Emma Gorge. There was a hot spring in the side of this massive gorge/waterfall, you could climb up into it. The water collected in a small crevice about the size of a bath, so after your swim in the cold fresh water you could just climb up and lay in the bath, Google them Shit Yeah!!!



On route we dashed through Halls Creek if we had taken this turning then we may have been killed (for those again who don't know get to know, clue its a movie about travelers who break down in their car and get murdered its loosely based on a true story that happened somewhere in South Oz!!! Oh whoops seem to have given the answer rather than the clue, its not one for you little Chloe).
